Postmark: April 7, 1908, Blue Mountain, NS (this post office was closed in 1947)
This card has "Blue Mountain" hand written in pencil in the upper right corner. This may have been added at a later date, and I am not sure if it is a reference to the post office identified by the postmark, or if it identifies the place in the photo. If any one can answer this question I sure would love to hear from you!
The postcard was mailed to Miss Jamie(?) Cameron, Willowdale, Pictou County, NS and the message reads " Dear Jean, Parcel rec'd safely also notes. flad to hear from you and (illegible). I will write ere long. How are you enjoying your vacation? I have lots of those magazines if you come for them. I'll send them some time. How is Kenneth? Isn't this a beautiful city, our house is not on this one but it is very near the Church. (Illegible)"
